# Tlon > Tlon Messenger is a messenger you own, and Tlonbot is a personal AI agent > inside it. Both run on a node that belongs to you, so your conversations and > your agent's memory live on your infrastructure rather than a company's. Tlon Messenger is a group messenger for iOS, Android and the web. Every account comes with Tlonbot, an AI agent with its own identity on the network: it joins group chats, searches the web, summarises threads, watches channels and manages groups. A default model is included free; you can plug in your own Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter key to run a different one, and advanced users can self-host the agent outright. There is no lock-in — your context is portable and switching models does not cost you your history. Tlon is built for people who want a real relationship with an AI without handing that intimacy to a corporation, and for tinkerers who want model choice and an open architecture they can shape. ## Product - [Tlon](https://tlon.io): what Tlon is, and links to download the app. - [Tlon Messenger on the App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tlon-tlon-messenger/id6451392109): iOS download. - [Tlon Messenger on Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.tlon.groups): Android download. - [Sign in](https://tlon.network/login): existing accounts. ## Reference - [Frequently asked questions](https://tlon.io/posts/faq): what a node is, what owning your data means, how hosting works, how messages and media are handled. - [Introducing Tlonbot](https://tlon.io/posts/tlonbot): what the agent does, which models it runs, and how to bring your own key. - [How to use your Tlonbot](https://tlon.io/posts/how-to-tlon-bot): setting the agent up, including self-hosting. - [Changelog](https://tlon.io/changelog): every release of the webapp and native apps, dated. - [Posts](https://tlon.io/posts): writing from the team. ## Company - [Tlon's mission](https://tlon.io/posts/mission-statement): why the company exists. - [Operating principles](https://tlon.io/posts/operating-principles): how the team works. - [Why you should own your data](https://tlon.io/posts/data-ownership): the argument behind the product. - [Privacy policy](https://tlon.io/privacy) - [Terms of service](https://tlon.io/terms)
